Tuesday, 27 September 2022 | Staff Reporter | bhopal

A meeting of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) held regarding the survey being conducted by the government on Madrassa and demanded the government to put an end to the illegitimate proceedings on Madrasas.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board's executive member and MLA Arif Masood told in a press conference that today an important meeting was held in MP. At the meeting Bhopal Shahar Qazi Syed  Mushtaq Ali Nadvi,  Mufti-e-Shahar Abul Kalam Qasmi, Mufti Junaid Falahi and  directors of all the big madrasas of other districts of the state including Falahi were present.

He said that Articles 25 and 27 give us freedom about the fact that madrassas have been running in India under the constitution.

In order to intimidate a particular religion, the government is harassing by campaigning against Madrassas. We appeal to the government that in many districts of the state, the recovery campaign is being run by the authorities in the name of investigation of Madrasas, this should be stopped at the earliest.

Children who take admission in Madrassas, are taught Quran and Islam. Similarly, people of all religions all over India get religious education in centers run according to their religion.

Most of the madrasas in Madhya Pradesh are run by trusts and institutions, these madrasas are run by the donations of the people, their money is spent for providing food, accommodation, treatment, clothes, books and salary to the teachers etc and some madrasas which are registered in the government or some are run and funded by the state government through madarsa board.

The financial account of these institutions or madrassas is deposited annually with the Registrar of Societies and Firm.
