Constitution Day was celebrated on November 26, 2022 at AIIMS, Bhopal as per the instructions of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
Under the leadership of Prof Dr. Ajai Singh, Executive Director, AIIMS Bhopal, all the heads of departments, faculty members, officers and employees of the institute read the Preamble of the Constitution.
Prof. Dr. Ajay Singh said on this occasion that our constitution is the best constitution in the world. If we go anywhere in the whole world, we will find that India is the best constitutional country. In our country everyone has the right to social, educational, religious and other equality and freedom.
Along with this, our duties towards the constitution are also mentioned. What should we do and what should we not do. All these things have been included in the Indian Constitution. He said that today is also a special day for us because the makers of the constitution made the constitution of the country with hard work and tireless efforts.
On this day, we remember our constitution makers with respect for their contribution.
On this occasion, Col. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar, Deputy Director (Administration) of the Institute told that the Constituent Assembly adopted the Indian Constitution November 26, 1949. That is why it is a very important day for all of us. He said that we all have deep faith and respect for the Indian Constitution.
In the end, the Executive Director sent greetings to all the departmental heads, faculty members, officers and employees of the Institute on the occasion of Constitution Day.
