Urban Administration and Development, Directorate (UADD), Government of M.P. has appointed Delhi based infrastructure consultants, Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd (REPL) for preparation of DPRs for implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (U) in 20 ULBS of Madhya Pradesh.
Through this assignment, Govt of M.P. want to improve the water sources, treatment & distribution system, sewerage network, STPs, rejuvenation of water bodies and development of green areas. REPL will prepare Detail Project Reports (DPRs) including conditional assessment of existing infrastructure, survey & investigation, designing, drawing, estimates, bid documents etc. for 20 ULBs including Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Nagar Parishad of Madhya Pradesh under Jal Jeevan Mission (Urban).
Pradeep Misra, CMD-REPL said, "Rapid urbanization in last decade has led to the huge population influx which has further resulted in the emergence of new urban settlements across the state. These demographic changes have brought with them infrastructure challenges which require systematic and planned approach to address especially in the areas of water supply, sanitation and sewerage. Being a part of the Smart City & Jal Jeevan Mission, our experience will be an added advantage to execute this project effectively."
Harish Sharma, ED-REPL said, "We will carry out an analysis of the existing situation of the water supply, sewerage and sanitation systems of the cities and prepare City Water Balance Plan (CWBP) and City Action plan (CAP). REPL will prepare detailed engineering and design documents for water supply, sanitation improvement, treatment and disposal of wastewater, and implementation plans. Development of green spaces / urban forestry in municipal area will also be undertakenas per available land parcels.
The ULBs include Municipal Corporation of Ujjain; Municipal Councils of Narsinghgarh, Sarangpur, Biaora, Chanderi, and Ashoknagar; and Nagar Parishads of Isagarh, Rajgarh, Chhapiheda, Machalpur, Boda, Talen, Suthaliya, Khujner, Kurawar, Khilchipur, Jirapur, Pachore, Shadora, and Mungaoli.
