Banwarilal Purohit, UT Administrator flagged off the Run for Unity from Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh. The four km run was organised by the Sports department, Chandigarh wherein 250 school students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. This event was organised to mark the celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav as India completes 75 years of its glorious independence.
