Scouts and guides to help Admin during Durga Puja

The scouts and guides always need to be associated with social concern. DC Waghmare Prasad Krishna said while addressing the Scouts and Guides associated with Bharat Scout Guide in the police line located in the suburban area of Baksidipa in the city.

The DC said that in today's environment apart from academic work, other activities should also be done in student life. Self confidence is strengthened by doing service work. SP R Ram Kumar said that it is a matter of great pride for the student who came to the training to remain in discipline. This is the basic mantra of Scouting Guiding. All of you will be given other responsibilities along with traffic control near the pandal during Durga Puja festival.

Scouts and guides doing commendable work will be rewarded with a citation. Sub-Divisional Officer Arvind Kumar Lal talked about assimilating the responsibility given in the training. The scout guide was trained by Sergeant Major Suresh Chandra Ojha and traffic in-charge Santosh Yadav. The training program was started by the District Organization Commissioner Gautam Lenin with a scout prayer. The program was conducted by Shailendra Kumar Suman, District Secretary, Bharat Scout Guide. On the spot, police station in-charge Lohardaga Anil Oraon, Ramanand Yadav of Police Line, District Joint Secretary Mumtaz Ahmed Paras Sahu, teachers Arun Ram, Vijay Kumar, Syed Amanullah, Mahadev Tana Bhagat, Kanta Bada Rekha Kujur, Sandhya Singh, Anamika Bharti and representatives of schools were present.
