SE will be responsible if there are frequent faults in feeder

If the maintenance is of quality then there will not be frequent faults in the feeder. If there is a fault or blockage on any 11 KV feeder more than 5 times in cities and more than 10 times in villages during the month, then the Superintending Engineer will be directly responsible.

To provide best service to electricity consumers, uninterrupted supply and timely collection of bill amount should be the goal of every power employee and officer. Principal Secretary Energy Sanjay Dubey gave these instructions in a review meeting of power officers of Indore and Ujjain regions at the headquarters of West Zone Electricity Distribution Company on Friday.

Dubey said that the officers of all the districts should work very seriously on the indexing of feeders. From July 1, I will see live information of selected feeders out of all the feeders of the state on the dashboard. Dubey directed that the responsibility of indexing of feeders would be from linemen up to JE, AE, DE, SE and CE of the respective regions.

They will be asked about this, action will be taken in case of mistake or negligence. The Principal Secretary said that the target of redressal of consumer grievances related to supply should be 1 hour in cities and 3 hours in the rural areas. He asked for replacement of old, defective meters on time, providing new connections on time, making vigilance recovery on time by setting target, getting rid of estimated consumption bills, doing RDSS works as per rules, AMR for all consumers with more than 10 kilowatt load. Instructions have been given to prepare DBT in all 15 districts regarding irrigation connections and to keep the maintenance data ready as per the spec module.

Amit Tomar, Managing Director, MPWZEDC said that there is continuous improvement in respect of transformer failure rate, revenue collection, loss reduction and other priorities.
