Environment, New and Renewable Energy Minister Hardeep Singh Dang on Tuesday paid obeisance and offered Ardas (worship) at the Gurdwara on Hamidia Road, Bhopal on the occasion of Prakash Parv. Minister Dang said that the teachings given by Guru Nanak Dev 500 years ago are still working as a beacon for the upliftment of mankind.
The Sikh community is following 'Naam Japo (Pray to the Lord), Kirat Karo (Work hard with honesty), Wand Chhako (share your food)'. Even today, langar and service to humanity in Gurdwaras are the gifts of Guru Nanak.
Minister Dang also performed kar seva along with the Ardas, service of Guru Granth Sahib in the Gurdwara. He also assured to solve the problems pointed out by the Gurdwara management. Minister Dang said that Guru Nanak Dev devoted his entire life to make human life meaningful by travelling for 30 years in many places including India, Afghanistan, Arab. It is a matter of pride that the lotus feet of Guru Nanak Dev had touched Bhopal.
