The Odisha unit of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) observed the death anniversary of its founder Kanshi Ramji here on Monday with a submission of a charter of demands to the Governor.
More than 2,000 leaders and cadres from 27 districts gathered in the pre-electoral show of the party. The stage was graced by former UP Minister and Odisha-in-charge of the party, Dharamveer Singh Ashok , national coordinator Champalal, State president Tankadhar Bag, general secretary Madhusudan Yadav and all State Committee members and cordiantors.
After the meeting, a delegation met Governor Dr Ganeshi Lal and demanded the enactment of Tribal sub-plan and SC sub-plan, caste-based census, provision of homestead land to the homeless, reactivation of OBC Financial Development Corporation and correction of land patta etc.
Singh and Champapal gave a call to the cadres to get ready to fight all Assembly and Lok Sabha seats of Odisha indenpedently without alliance with NDA or I.N.D.I.A.
