Chhattisgarh’s two Pahadi Korwa tribes will join the Republic Day celebrations on Rajpath in New Delhi.

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has nominated Foda Korwa and Surit Korwa of Balrampur district as guests.

They will participate in numerous events in national capital till February 1.

The goal of the tour is to familiarize the tribal visitors with the rich cultural diversity of the nation during Republic Day celebrations.

The Tribal Department nominates two visitors from the tribal community each year to take part in the Republic Day celebrations.

In the past, nominations for the show were from the Baiga, Birhor, Kamar, Abujhmadia, Pando, and Bhunjia tribes. This year, guests are being sent from the Pahadi Korwa tribe.
