CII YI hosts Leadership Academy, to add 10 new chapters

CII Young Indians (YI) on Friday kicked off a dynamic three-day Leadership Academy at XLRI, drawing participation from young leaders representing 65 cities across the nation.

CII Young Indians National President, Dilip Krishna, expressed their ambitious plans for the organization during the press meet. He highlighted their goal to expand YI chapters from the existing 65 to an impressive 75 by the close of this year. This expansion is a testament to YI's commitment to nurturing leadership skills and fostering positive change among India's youth.

National Vice President of CII Young Indians, Vishal Agarwala, emphasized the significance of this Leadership Academy in shaping future leaders. He underlined YI's dedication to empowering young Indians with the knowledge and skills required to lead and succeed in an ever-evolving world.

Agarwala shared insights into YI's plans for Jharkhand. In addition to their presence in Jamshedpur and Ranchi, YI intends to establish two new chapters within the state, further promoting their vision of youth leadership and community development.

The CII Young Indians Leadership Academy promises to be an enriching experience, bringing together young minds from diverse backgrounds to engage in dialogue, learning, and collaborative efforts that will shape the future of India's leadership landscape. Designate National Vice President, Tarang Khurana, commented, "In a world that demands action and change, YI stands as a beacon of hope, proving that the energy and drive of young individuals can transform communities and shape a brighter future. Through their projects and initiatives, they not only address pressing issues but also inspire others to join the movement of positive change."

He went on to add that YI takes an active role in promoting health and learning. Annual blood collection drives and health camps benefit underprivileged individuals, demonstrating their commitment to holistic well-being. Furthermore, the chapter conducts various educational sessions, including CV building, financial literacy, and cash flow management, preparing young minds for a successful future.

Meanwhile, CII Young Indians in association with country's leading management institute XLRI Jamshedpur and Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) is going to organise Motivational Talk at Tata Auditorium XLRI on 2nd September. This talk, to be held from 6.30 pm, is supported by TRF. This talk will be given by Brigadier Sushil Bhasin, a well-known motivational coach of the country.

Prateek Agarwal, Chair, Jamshedpur Chapter of CII Young Indians said that Brigadier Bhasin is an award winning military leader, team builder expert and time consciousness coach. He has a rich and varied experience of 34 years in the Army. Also worked in the business world for 18 years. He has been a Global Keynote Speaker, TEDx Speaker and Josh Talks Speaker. Brigadier Sushil Bhasin is the author of several self-help books including Million Dollar Second published by CNBC and endorsed by Brian Tracy. He has given motivational talks in more than six countries. He is the founder of Institute for Leadership, Time Management and Resilience as well as President of PSAI Mumbai Chapter and an active member of APSS.
