Cong didn't implement PMAY scheme for 5 years: BJP

Tuesday, 26 September 2023 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

The Bharatiya Janata Party in Chhattisgarh on Monday alleged that the Congress government failed to implement PMAY schemes for five years.

The BJP termed the ‘Chhattisgarh Gramin Awas Nyay Yojana’ as a political drama. Rajya Sabha member Saroj Pandey alleged that the Congress government deprived 16 lakh families of PMAY houses in the state.

Despite repeated reminders for implementing the PMAY scheme, the government in Chhattisgarh did not pay attention.

The Central government had allotted 7.81 lakh houses but the state did not accept it, she alleged.
