Official language fortnight concludes at BHEL Bhopal

Official Language Hindi Fortnight, 2023 concluded the other day in the premises of Quality Assurance Establishment (Warship Equipment), Naval Office, Bhopal, Ministry of Defence (MoD), BHEL, Bhopal.

Rajeev Singh, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal was present as the chief guest in the program and Om Prakash Sharma, Captain, Indian Navy was present as the Sthapna Pramukh. On this occasion, Mr. Avinash Chandra, General Manager (HR & Logistics), Mr. Deepak Asthana, Deputy Commandant, CISF and  Vinodanand Jha, Additional General Manager (Publicity & Public Relations) were also present as special guests on this occasion.

The program was started by lighting the lamp by all the guests present on the stage.

In his address, Rajeev Singh said that Hindi is not only our mother tongue but is also a reflection of Indian culture. He also asked the people present to work in Hindi because through this language they can express their feelings properly. He appreciated the efforts of the Indian Navy Office in promotion and implementation of the official language Hindi and while presenting the awards to the award winners, he requested them to adopt Hindi promotion as a mission.

Om Prakash Sharma, Captain, Indian Navy welcomed all the guests and explained about the various works being done for the promotion of Hindi by the Quality Assurance Establishment (Warship Equipment), Naval Office, Ministry of Defense (MOD). Presented the details of. He said that after joining the Navy, all the officers and soldiers from different parts of the country speak only one language, that is Hindi. Describing Hindi as a very powerful language, he highlighted its dominance in knowledge science and technology.

In the program, Mr. Avinash Chandra, while congratulating and best wishes to all the award winners, said that there is no inconvenience in working in Hindi. What is needed is that we once and for all decide that we will do our work in Hindi.

During the fortnight, Essay Writing, Baat Mere Mann Ki, Picture Brainstorming and Question Answer competitions were organized in which all the participants of the department participated enthusiastically.

On this occasion, Manoj Mishra, Hindi Officer (Warship Equipment), Navy conducted the presentation and program related to the use of Hindi.
