SAIL's Central Induction Program for Management Trainees begins

A Central Induction Program was organized for a total of 68 trainees of newly appointed “Management Trainee-2023 Batch” for various plants of SAIL in the main auditorium of Human Resource Development Department, Bokaro. The programme was inaugurated online by Amarendu Prakash,New Chairman, SAIL. In his address, Chairman, SAIL congratulated all the newly appointed Management Trainees for their joining to SAIL and appealed to all to become No. 01 in all fields cohesively .

 

Notably Chairman SAIL Amarendu Prakash, Director In-Charge (Bhilai Steel Plant), Anirban Dasgupta, Director - Commercial, V S Chakraborty, Director - In-Charge (Rourkela Steel Plant & Additional Charge Bokaro Steel Plant) Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plant BP Singh, Director (Finance) AK Tulsiani, Chief Vigilance Officer SAIL Vineet Pandey, Director (Personnel) KK Singh were connected online in this programme . Also from Bokaro Executive Director – Works BK Tiwari, ED  (HRD/MTI), Sanjeev Kumar, ED - Projects CR Mohapatra, ED - Finance & Accounts Suresh Rangani, ED (Materials Management) Amitabh Srivastava, ED – SRU PK Rath, ED - Personnel & Administration Rajan Prasad, ED - Mines Joydeep Dasgupta, Chief General Managers and Heads of Departments were present. All the dignitaries welcomed  newly recruited management trainees to SAIL and wished them a bright future .

 

It is noteworthy that keeping in mind the safety paramount, the program first started with the safety oath. Thereafter, ED (HRD/MTI), Sanjeev Kumar welcomed all the newly appointed Management Trainees and the chief guests and discussed the utility of this programme and after that the documentary of the arrival of the Management Trainees was screened. After that, one by one management trainees from all the plants informed everyone about their aspirations and expectations. At the end of the programme, the vote of thanks was extended by the Executive Director - Personnel and Administration, Rajan Prasad. The programme was coordinated by Preeti Kumari  Manager – HRD.
