In commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi's 153rd birth anniversary, the Central Government launched the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign. In this initiative, the State Bank of India (SBI), recognized for its commitment to cleanliness and societal well-being, played a pivotal role.

Kaliasot Dam has been identified for SBI's cleanliness endeavors, encompassing regular clean-up activities and the installation of informative cleanliness-promoting billboards.

To rekindle public awareness and dedication to cleanliness, SBI introduced new billboards and dustbins in the vicinity. These additions aimed to encourage responsible waste disposal and maintain the area's cleanliness.

The initiative was spearheaded by Deputy Managing Director Binod Kumar Mishra, showcasing its uniqueness. Under his leadership, the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2023 was launched across the SBI Bhopal circle, which includes Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, spanning 358 locations. Bank officers and local residents actively joined this campaign, demonstrating their unwavering commitment.

Continuing their dedication, Binod Kumar Mishra, alongside Ajitav Parashar, GM NW 2 LHO Bhopal, led a cleanliness drive at Bus stand Katni and RBO Katni. They were joined by district Collector Mr. Avi Prasad, Superintendent of Police Mr. Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan, and other bank officials.

This collective effort garnered appreciation from the attending general public, acknowledging the bank's role in promoting cleanliness awareness. During the event, all officials and staff members pledged to uphold cleanliness principles, striving to make Bhopal the cleanest city in the country.

In a post-event gathering, General Manager Kundan Jyoti and Neeraj Prasad reaffirmed their commitment to making Bhopal the top-ranked clean city in India. DGM & Circle Development Officer Deepak Jha, along with Deputy General Managers, officers, and bank employees, were also present. They collectively vowed and took oath to transform these efforts into a sustainable movement, with active public participation ensuring enduring success.
