The 2nd edition of the Agriculture and Rural Communication Summit 2024, held at Pride Plaza Hotel, New Delhi, spotlighted transformative strategies for advancing Indian agriculture. Organized by Snail Integral Pvt. Ltd, the summit unveiled key insights into technology-driven solutions that promise to boost crop yields by up to 20% while empowering farmers.

During the event, a knowledge paper titled "Rural Communication and Agriculture in India: Pathways to a Viksit Bharat 2047" was released by Synergy Technofin and Snailintegral. The report emphasized the role of cutting-edge technologies like IoT, AI, and Blockchain in revolutionizing agriculture. These tools are set to provide precise insights into crop health, optimize irrigation, and enable data-driven farming, stated Sunil Sihag, MD, Synergy Technofin.

Dr. P.K. Singh, Agriculture Commissioner, highlighted the government's focus on sustainability through Integrated Pest Management and innovative seed varieties. Panel discussions explored themes such as sustainability, communication strategies, and technology adoption. The summit underscored the critical need for digital literacy, strategic partnerships, and inclusive communication to transform rural India and achieve the goal of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
