Thanking AICC leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi for declaring veteran Bhakta Charan Das as Odisha Congress Campaign Committee chairman, youth leader Debiprasad Prusti has expressed that the faith and wishes of central leadership will be respected by Odisha people and Congress will come to power in Odisha and give maximum MPs from the State.
“Bhakta Daa, elder brother, as popularly addressed by the youth across the State is a volcano in people's movement and has vast experience of fighting against all odds and he can turn the table in favour of Congress,” Prusti said. Of course, all senior leaders of Odisha Congress will be more spirited with Bhakta in his new role.
Youth of the State are energised the moment his name was declared by the Central leaders to lead the campaign in Odisha which is ruined during last twenty-four years of misrule, corruption, unemployment, farmers suicides and rising atrocities on tribals and Dalits, Prusti expressed.
People are now seeing a bright ray of hope and will rally around Congress to defeat the dictatorship, plutocracy and corrupt Narendra Modi-led BJP and Naveen Patnaik-led BJD in Odisha. Prusti has appealed to the conscious citizens, especially the youth and students to be the messengers of change in Odisha.
