10 degrees mercury drop in a day in Jharkhand

Due to sudden weather change, rains and cold winds have brought down mercury in Jharkhand. Along with rain, storm is going on at many places. Due to rain, the temperature has dropped by 10 degrees Celsius in a span of one day.

The Ranchi centre of Meteorological department today said that the maximum temperature is likely to drop by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius in the state during the next 24 hours. After this, there is no possibility of any major change in the next 2 to 3 days.

According to the Centre, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the western parts of the state on April 9. It is likely to affect Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla, Simdega districts.

According to the Centre, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the southern and central parts of the state from April 10 to 12. It is likely to affect East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Gumla, Khunti, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Bokaro districts.

There is a possibility of thunder and lightning at some places in the state on April 9 and 11. During this period, strong winds may blow. Its speed is expected to be 30 to 50 kilometers per hour.

It is likely to affect East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Gumla, Khunti, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Bokaro districts.
