3-day capacity building programme on IT Initiatives held at IICM

Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Technical), Coal India Limited, and Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Coal India Limited, addressed over 250 executives at the Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM) in Ranchi during the valedictory session of the Capacity Building Program on IT Initiatives.

Indian Institute of Coal Management Ranchi (IICM), the corporate training center of Coal India Limited(CIL), organized a three-day Capacity Building Program on IT Initiatives from August 22-24, 2024. This program was conducted as part of a three-month campaign advised by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).

Dr. Kamakshi Raman, Executive Director of IICM, welcomed Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Technical), Coal India Limited, and Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), CIL.On this occasion,Dr. Reddy and Shri Tripathy administered the Integrity Pledge to all present there in English and Hindi respectively.

In his address, Tripathy emphasized the crucial role of vigilance within Coal India, highlighting key aspects of preventive vigilance and ethical governance. He urged the participants to be proactive in ensuring transparency and accountability in their respective roles.

Dr. B. Veera Reddy, in his address, discussed CIL's ambitious production targets, multifaceted growth strategies, and plans for diversification. He stressed that hard work and adherence to rules and guidelines are essential for success. Dr. Reddy motivated the participants to perform their duties more effectively and efficiently, emphasizing the importance of dedication and commitment in achieving the organization's objectives.
