Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has said that as per the election programme of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, after the process of withdrawal of nomination papers filed for the second phase, now 88 candidates are finally in the fray. On Monday, on the last day of withdrawal of nominations, 5 candidates withdrew their nomination papers.
Rajan told that 7 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 6 Tikamgarh (SC), 14 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 7 Damoh, 14 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 8 Khajuraho, 19 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 9 Satna, 14 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency Number-10 Rewa, 12 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency Number-17 Hoshangabad and 8 candidates are left in the election fray in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency Number-29 Betul (ST).
