All governing bodies should become symbols of good governance

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that all administrative organs should adhere to good governance. Steps like registry in the purchase and sale of movable property as well as the system of nominbation transfer and simplification of the process of passing house maps have been taken for the convenience of the public. It is duty of the state government to take care of soldiers and the police personnel dedicated to maintaining law and order. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was addressing a programme organized at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium.

Mohan Yadav said that increasing irrigation facilities and drinking water supply will bring positive changes in the lives of the people of Bundelkhand and Chambal region.

Those present were Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Water Resources Minister Tulsi Silawat, Panchayat and Rural Development, Labor Minister Prahlad Patel, Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma, MP V.D. Sharma and Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources Rajesh Rajoura.

Prachar raths to cover 3600 villages of 17 districts

Chief Minister Yadav inaugurated the Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Jal Kalash Yatra. Chief Minister Yadav flagged off five raths of Jal Kalash Yatra from the Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium complex. Under the Yatra, one hundred LED Prachar Raths are being sent for publicity in about 3600 villages of 17 districts benefiting from Ken Betwa Parvati Kali Sindh Chambal Project. Films focusing on the benefits of the project and the importance of water were screened. Chief Minister Yadav gave out-of-turn promotion to 24 police personnel who displayed bravery and valour and gave them stars for the promoted posts. Chief Minister Yadav distributed appointment letters to one thousand newly appointed candidates virtually through a single click and symbolically gave appointment letters to 9 candidates from the stage.

Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project to alter Bundelkhand, Chambal regions

Chief Minister Yadav said that India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is witnessing a big change. During the Covid period, Prime Minister Modi demonstrated his efficiency by protecting the countrymen as well as by providing Covid vaccine to more than 100 countries. The innovations taking place in the country under his leadership and the use of new technology have made life of the common man easier. The people of Bundelkhand continued to struggle and defeated the enemies. Ken-Betwa Link Project will increase irrigation facilities in Bundelkhand region and will make the life of the people joyful. Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project will change the life of Bundelkhand and Chambal.

Out of turn promotions to brave and dutiful police personnel

Chief Minister Yadav said that the police personnel who faced tough situations amd performed duties. They deserve commendations. Chief Minister  Yadav, while congratulating the newly appointed officials, said that they will discharge their duties and will remain dedicated to the advancement of the country.

Jal Kalash Yatra is a resolve for the development and progress of Madhya Pradesh: Water Resources Minister Silavat Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat said that Ken-Betwa Link Project and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project Jal Kalash Yatra is a pledge for the development and progress of the state. The resolve that was taken by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to link rivers in Madhya Pradesh is now taking shape. There has been unprecedented growth in the irrigation sector in Madhya Pradesh. In the year 2003-04, the area under irrigation was only 7 lakh hectares, which has increased to about 47 lakh hectares today. Our target is to increase it to 65 lakh hectares by the year 2025 and to 1 crore 55 lakh hectares by the year 2047.

 

Minister Shri Silawat said that Ken-Betwa National Project will change the picture and destiny of Bundelkhand. This project will irrigate 8 lakh 11 thousand hectare area and 41 lakh people of Bundelkhand will get drinking water. The project will generate 103 MW electricity in Bundelkhand that will benefit 7 lakh 13 thousand farmer families of about 2 thousand villages in 10 districts of the state. Chambal-Kalisindh-Parvati Irrigation Project will open new doors of development and progress. This project costing Rs 72 thousand crore will irrigate 06 lakh 17 thousand hectare area of ??Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, in which irrigation facility will be available in 03 lakh 37 thousand hectare area of ??Madhya Pradesh.

Bundelkhand will now be a green and prosperous region

MP Shri V.D. Sharma said that the Ken-Betwa link project will prove to be a milestone in the development of Madhya Pradesh. Bundelkhand, which was called dry and poor, will now be a green and prosperous region. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the project, Shri Sharma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, implementation of the projects will be ensured within the time limit.

Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Kumar Saxena said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s recognition of the sacrifice and bravery of the police personnel shows his affection towards the police personnel. The nature of police service is such that there is neither a fixed place of duty nor a fixed time. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s decision of providing better facilities to police families is commendable.

Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Head Constable and Constable promoted

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave out of turn promotions to 24 police personnel who displayed courage and devotion to duty in the encounter with Naxalites on December 14, 2023 at Kamkodadar in Balaghat and awarded them stars of higher rank. These include Sub Inspector Shri Upendra Dubey, Shri Namdev Sharma, Assistant Sub Inspector Hawkforce Shri Atul Kumar Shukla, Arun Mishra, Manoj Kapse, Lokendra Singh Jadaun, Dilip Uike, Head Constable Hawkforce Shri Aziz Ali, Ravindra Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Ramkumar Navreti, Phoolchand Kushwaha. , Braj Mohan Gurjar, Constable Hawkforce Shri Rajesh Kumar, Kamal Vaishnav, Raisingh Verma, Anurag Singh Yadav, Pawan Kumar, Asif Khan, Arvind Kumar Soni, Arvind Kumar Yadav, Satish Matre, Mahipal Chandela and Lokendra Singh Sikarwar.

Effective work being undertaken in anti-Naxal campaign

It may be noted that in the last few years, effective work has been done in the anti-Naxal operation in Balaghat, in which 17 Naxalites have been killed. In the year 2022, 6 Naxalites were killed, which is a record for the highest number of Naxalites killed in a year. Apart from this, 5 Naxalites were arrested in the last five years and 6 exchanges of fire took place in the last two years, following which the Naxalites escaped. In the last two years, 10 Naxal dumps were recovered in which huge quantity of ammunition and explosives were seized by the police. Seven new police camps have been established in the year 2022-24.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gives symbolical appointment letters to 9 candidates

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav provided appointment letters to the newly appointed candidates. Under this, under Public Health and Medical Education Department, Shri Manish Pawar has been appointed as Radiographer, Sushri Manisha Gupta as Laboratory Technician, Shri Anand Kesharwani as Pharmacist, under Revenue Department, Sushri Shilpa Saryam, Sushri Sakshi Verma, Shri Ranu Sharma, Shri Saubhar Chaudhary as Patwari and Sushri Ekta Verma under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department for the post of Assistant Engineer.
