Thursday, 22 August 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Due to technical faults, students are not able to fill the online application of JTET. August 22 was the last date to apply but in view of the problems being faced by the candidates, JAC has extended the date of submission of application to August 26.

Due to technical faults in the JAC portal for two days, neither registration is being done nor application is being submitted for the last two days. In such a situation, the students were getting worried that the last date is about to come and till now their form has not been submitted. Keeping this in mind, the date of application has been extended.

JAC's team is engaged in fixing the technical fault in the portal of JAC. According to the information, the capacity of the server will be increased by Wednesday evening, after which the technical fault will be fixed. Giving information,

JAC Chairman Anil Mahato said that now applications will be taken till August 26. JAC has taken this decision due to the fault in the server. Earlier the last date for application was August 22.

Teacher eligibility test is being conducted by JAC in the State after about 8 years, for which online applications are being accepted from July 23, in which about 3.5 lakh students have registered so far. It is worth noting that according to the advertisement issued by Jharkhand Academic Council, separate teacher eligibility tests will be conducted for classes 1st to 5th and 6th to 8th.
