In a poignant tribute to the unsung heroes of India's independence struggle, the book "Jalti Rahe Mashal" authored by Arvind Vidrohi was unveiled at a ceremony organized by the Singhbhum District Bhojpuri Literature Council, Jamshedpur, held at Bhojpuri Bhavan in Golmuri. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Angad Tiwari, Director of Arka Jain University, and other dignitaries, including Dr. Ashok Avichal and litterateur Dinesh Prasad Singh Dinesh.

"Jalti Rahe Mashal" narrates the saga of a family deeply entrenched in the fight for freedom across three generations, providing readers with an intimate glimpse into the lives of ordinary yet extraordinary individuals who dedicated themselves to the cause of liberation. Dr. Tiwari emphasized the book's significance as a testament to the resilience and sacrifices endured by freedom fighters and their families, underscoring its relevance in guiding both future generations and society at large.

Reflecting on the legacy of Arvind Vidrohi's family, which spans decades of activism and advocacy for the marginalized, the event highlighted the enduring spirit of resistance and solidarity. Through 62 memoir articles, the book illuminates the historical journey of the Sharma family, offering profound insights into the struggles of independence and post-independence India.

Arvind Vidrohi, himself a stalwart in the realm of literature and activism, dedicates "Jalti Rahe Mashal" to the memory of late Brahmadev Singh Sharma, a renowned journalist whose vision inspired the documentation of his family's valiant struggle against British imperialism. Vidrohi's recollections of correspondence with India's first President, Rajendra Prasad, further underscore the indomitable spirit of the era and the enduring impact of collective resistance.

As the president of the Singhbhum District Bhojpuri Literature Council, Arvind Vidrohi continues to enrich society with his literary contributions, weaving together narratives of resilience and hope through works such as "Political Corpse," "Pain of Inscription," and "Line."

The launch ceremony, attended by esteemed journalists, poets, and dignitaries, served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by countless individuals in the pursuit of freedom and justice, ensuring that their stories remain etched in the annals of history for generations to come.
