Bird catcher of the country, MLA-MP thief roaming in Jharkhand: Hemant

Friday, 15 November 2024 | PNS | Dumka/Sarath

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today launched a scathing attack on BJP while addressing election rallies in Dumka and Sarath assembly constituencies. Soren said that the whole country's bird catcher, MLA and MP thief is roaming in Jharkhand. Their Chief Ministers of many states, the Prime Minister himself and the Home Minister are camping here. He said that these people have been after a tribal for the last five years, but could not do anything to him. These people have become nervous. When they could not do anything through political fights, they put constitutional institutions after me.

Soren said that these dishonest people never participated in the happiness and sorrow of the people of the state. They have no concern for the youth, women, farmers, tribals, Dalits and the poor. In 20 years, how many people's financial burdens have been reduced by BJP and NDA, ask these people. Such people have to be put in a sack and thrown in Gujarat. In their state, tribal women are being disrobed and they are silently watching the spectacle.

The CM said that while they were in power, farmers were committing suicide. People were dying of hunger. But in the Mahagathbandhan government, farmers' loans up to two lakhs were waived, people's outstanding electricity bills were waived, all the elderly were given pension. The Mahagathbandhan government has worked to make the poor stand on their feet.

Soren further said that the employees of their state do not get pension, but in Jharkhand we have implemented the old pension scheme for our employees, the lawyers of the state have been given respect in the form of pension. Women are getting honorarium. Now the honorarium has been increased from 1000 thousand to 2500 thousand rupees from December. In the coming time, work will be done to send five lakh rupees to every family.

Meanwhile, JMM issued a press release on Thursday and stated that women voters have shown interest in the voting held on 43 seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and General in the first phase. Especially the enthusiasm of women in the seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes has been worth seeing. General seats lagged behind these reserved seats. Despite this, women voters have voted in greater numbers in general seats. For this, Mainiya Samman Yojana and Sarvajan Pension Yojana were largely helpful in increasing the percentage of women in voting.

It stated that the average voting in the 43 seats of the first phase was 65.71 percent. It crossed 77% on the ST seat. Voting was more than 70 percent on eight of these seats. Voting ranged from 61 to 70 percent on SC seats.

The releases said that if the voters are to be believed, this time the voters have shown interest due to the schemes of the government. Schemes like Mainyan Samman Yojana, Sarvajan Pension Yojana, farmers loan waiver, electricity bill dues waiver, free electricity have motivated the voters to vote.
