Addressing a public meeting in Lohardaga on the occasion of nomination filing of Congress candidate Sukhdeo Bhagat, State Chief Minister Champai Soren said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has become a party of big lies. He said that the BJP led government of Narendra Modi had won the Lok Sabha elections on the issues of inflation, corruption etc, but after winning, there was a huge increase in inflation and a sudden increase in the prices of petrol and gas, which is continuing till today.
The Modi government at the Center is responsible for this. He said that BJP is a liars' party and their lies have become a jumla. This is Modi's guarantee. Modi had guaranteed employment. Guaranteed to reduce the prices of petrol, diesel and gas cylinders. Guarantee was given to provide employment to 2 crore people, after the formation of the government from Swiss Bank, Rs 15 lakh each was guaranteed to all the people, but BJP's guarantee is proving to be a mere statement till date.
Terming BJP's guarantee as a 'jumla', he appealed to make India Alliance candidate Sukhdev Bhagat of Congress victorious in the Lok Sabha elections to be held on May 13 by voting.
For the nomination programme ministers of the Jharkhand government and the Chief Minister had reached Gumla. Health Minister Banna Gupta, Minister Rameshwar Oraon, Minister Satyanand Bhokta from Congress with senior leaders Subodh Kant Sahay, Rajesh Thakur, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Bandhu Tirkey and many Congress party leaders and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha MLA Jinga Munda, MLA Bhushan Tirkey, MLA Neha Shilpi Tirkey participated in the programme.
Addressing the public meeting, Congress party's Jharkhand state in-charge Ghilam Ahmed Mir said that BJP has become a party of slogans, their job is to tell lies and they have come to power only by telling lies. INDI Alliance will be formed to remove such a lying party from power. It has been formed and BJP and Modi are scared of India alliance because India alliance is winning in the entire country.
Many leaders including member Alok Kumar Sahu gave their views and appealed to make Congress Party candidate Sukhdev Bhagat victorious with huge votes and to make people aware of the manifesto of Congress Party. Before nomination, a meeting was organized in the Congress Party office. After this, the nomination procession toured the urban area and went to the office of the returning officer where Sukhdev Bhagat filed the nomination form. After this a public meeting was organized in the Nagar Bhavan premises. In which the Chief Minister including state ministers, MLAs and leaders and workers of Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Communist Party of India participated.
