Class 10 student drowns in Koyal River, dies

A 10th class student of Livens Academy died due to drowning in the Koel river of the district. It took 2 hours to find the body. The deceased was identified as Devansh Kumar, 16 year old son of Bhim Sahu, resident of Kisko police station area. According to the information, Devansh Kumar had come to Kisko Mod on Sunday to study tuition. After which, along with some of his friends, he went to Koyal river to take a bath. While taking bath, Devansh went into deep water, his friends tried to take him out but the depth was too much. Due to this, he could not be saved from drowning. After which information about the incident was given to Sadar police station. After about 2 hours, with the collective efforts of Sadar police station and District Fisheries Committee, Devansh was pulled out from about 19 feet deep water with the help of a fight. After which he was immediately taken to Sadar Hospital. Went there where doctors declared him dead.
