State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that this time the NDA alliance has to win 14 seats. “I have come to request that Prime Minister Narendra Modi take over the reins of the country for the third time by taking 400 seats,” he said while addressing people in Chaibasa on Monday. Marandi reached Chaibasa on the occasion of nomination of MP candidate Geeta Koda.
He said that BJP has done a lot of work for the country and Jharkhand in the last 10 years. The party has given the slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. During this period he worked for all sections of society. No previous government did so much work during its tenure. Whatever BJP says, it does.
The separate state of Jharkhand is also the contribution of BJP. The battle of Jharkhand was being fought for years, but the Congress party did not respect the sentiments of the people of this state. The leaders here kept playing and feeding Jaipal Singh and Shibu Soren, but Jharkhand did not become a state. BJP had promised that after coming to power, Jharkhand will be made a separate state. With the formation of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government at the Centre, a separate state of Jharkhand was formed on November 15, 2000.
Marandi said that Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha are brothers of corruption. He said that earlier there was no electricity in the village. People lived with the help of lanterns and lamps. The previous government never worried about providing electricity to the villages. BJP government is formed at the centre, electricity reached every village.
Marandi said that the people in power in Jharkhand have looted the state in last 4 years and made it hollow. They are propagating among the people that Hemant Soren has been put in jail by BJP. He has no fault, but after reading the charge sheet filed by ED in the court, it will be known what the misdeeds of Hemant Soren are. Hemant Soren was posing as the leader of thieves. Coal and stone were being smuggled. Army and government land were sold by making fake documents. ED will definitely put those who do this in jail.
He said that the Jharkhand government is also trying to deceive the unemployed people of the state. She takes the money and arranges the appointment. The question paper is getting leaked even before the exam. He said that BJP considers the Constitution as a religious text. Previous governments have done the work of changing the Constitution.
NDA candidate Geeta Koda said that the opponent has neither policy nor determination. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has cheated the people of Jharkhand. They have done the work of cheating the innocent public. The work has been done to push the people here into the ditch. Work has been done to erect barricades on all the schemes of the Central Government. JMM leaders are trying to shed green tears by saying that we are not getting anything. They have no thinking and vision for the state. Atal Bihari Vajpayee did the work of creating Jharkhand. 30 to 35,000 children have dropped out in Singhbhum, but the government is not losing sleep. People are migrating. The government is not providing employment to the workers.
