Congress to announce its eight list of candidates today

Political parties have started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Various political parties have finalized the names of their respective candidates. Meanwhile, Congress will also brainstorm about the candidates today i.e. on Wednesday. There will be a meeting of the Congress Central Election Committee in Delhi today. In this, the final seal will be given on the names of the candidates of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu and Goa.

The names of the candidates will also be announced by night. Congress has so far released 7 lists of candidates, in which it has given tickets to 195 candidates. Congress Legislature Party leader and Jharkhand government minister Alamgir Alam left for Delhi from Ranchi airport to attend the CWC meeting. He said that the names of candidates from Jharkhand will probably be announced in Delhi today by night.

The formula regarding seat sharing has already been finalized in Congress and JMM. Congress will contest on 6 seats and JMM on 5 seats. One seat each has been given to RJD and ML. He said that it will be the party's decision as to whom RJD gives the ticket to. But the Palamu seat has already been finalized by the Grand Alliance. Alamgir Alam said that there will definitely be a change this time. People are fed up with the BJP government. Unemployment is at its peak. Grand alliance will give very good results in Jharkhand also in 2019 elections.

Congress announced the names of its candidates for 5 Lok Sabha seats in the 7th list late on Tuesday night. The party has given tickets to candidates on four Lok Sabha seats of Chhattisgarh and one Lok Sabha seat of Tamil Nadu. Shashi Singh from Surguja (ST) of Chhattisgarh, Maneka Singh Devi from Raigarh (ST), Devendra Singh Yadav from Bilaspur, Bijesh Thakur from Kanker (ST) have been fielded, while Advocate R Sudha has been fielded from Mayiladuthurai seat of Tamil Nadu. The Election Commission has announced the Lok Sabha elections. The elections will be held in seven phases and counting of votes for all seats will take place on June 4. Voting will be held for the first phase on April 19 and for the last phase on June 1. In the first phase, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman Nicobar, Jammu Kashmir, Lakshadweep, Puducherry. Voting will be held on a total of 102 seats.
