Country amazed to discover new exposure in corruption stories: BJP

Sunday, 31 March 2024 | Staff Reporter | New Delhi

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday said here people of the country are amazed to see a new exposure in the corruption stories of Aam Aadmi Party and Congress and today both the parties stand on the same page of corruption sagas of all INDI Alliance partners.

He made these claims in the wake of Enforcement Directorate(ED)questioned AAP minister Kailash Gahlot in connection with the liquor scam.

Sachdeva said Gahlot's role has come out in liquor scam on one hand and on the other hand a revelation that Congress received around Rs. 626 crores in cash from different companies between 2014 to 2019.  He added this has shocked the people.

Delhi BJP President said Kailash Gahlot has been a comparatively silent minister and exposure of his role in liquor scam has shocked Delhiites beyond expression in words and now people believe that entire government and party MLAs are inundated in corruption. Earlier this week we also saw enforcement directorate investigating an MLA Gulab Singh Matiala and some leaders of AAP from Goa too.

Sachdeva said people of Delhi are shocked to see Team Kejriwal stoop to lowest ebb seeking political protection from people like MPs Kapil Sibal and Sharad Pawar whom once they cursed as India Against Corruption activists.

Delhi BJP President said on Sunday Delhi's Ramlila Ground will cry when it watches AAP leaders stand with Congress and other INDI alliance leaders whom they cursed in this very Maidan in August 2011during Anna Hazare's rally.

Sachdeva said Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has slapped Aam Aadmi Party in his press conference on Saturday when INDI alliance rally is not for supporting an individual as being reported by media but for alliance's common agenda.
