Man posing as close to CM and cheating nabbed

Fraudster posing and claiming to be close to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has been arrested after several complaints of cheating were made against him after CM Mohan Yadav has been made CM of the state.

The accused identified as Naveen first reached CM House Vindhya Kothi. After this, he started cheating on the pretext of facilitating transfers and posting on posts like Transport Commissioner. After the complaint, the crime branch has arrested him.

However, investigation is going on as to how many people and how much he has defrauded. The accused was calling himself close to the RSS and Congress state president Jitu Patwari.

Earlier on December 13, Mohan Yadav was taking oath as CM. Meanwhile, Naveen Singh Rathore, resident of Kesar Bagh Road, Indore, reached Vindhya Kothi, claiming himself to be close to him and other big leaders of BJP.

Meanwhile, when the police asked for the names of those close to the CM, he had written the names of some people in a register. Due to this the police also felt that he was close to the CM. But later he started cheating people in the name of getting transfer-posting, getting government tenders, getting possession of disputed lands, getting posts in the party etc. Many such complaints had reached the CM. After investigation he was arrested.

Accused Naveen has said in his statement that he runs a shop of dry fruits and spices in Indore. He was a pracharak of the Sangh from 1998 to 2007. His maternal uncle and other relatives are also associated with the Sangh. Apart from this, in 2008 he was associated with Jitu Patwari.

On January 1, he met the officials of the Unemployed Teachers Association in a hotel in Bhopal and talked about the appointment of teachers.

Naveen had promised to appoint 3-4 teachers from the ministry. Apart from this, there was talk of getting a woman a job in Indore Municipal Corporation.

An employee of the Tribal Department had lost his job and even after winning the case from the court, he was not getting his job back. Then the CEO was called by an official of the ministry.

Naveen had also talked about getting 59 acres of disputed land in Bhopal released from the Revenue Department.

He was also in talks for making a Budni resident Transport Commissioner. Naveen has claimed that there was also talk of making Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Indore Divisional Commissioner.
