No cases of Bird Flu reported in Bokaro; Dept High Alert

Under the directive of the Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, the District Animal Husbandry Department has formed district and block-level Rapid Response Teams/Quick Response Teams.

 

Notably following the recent incident of poultry deaths in the regional poultry zone of Hotwar, Ranchi, the District Animal Husbandry Department's team is on high alert. As of now, there have been no reported cases of bird flu in the district, but the department is closely monitoring the situation.

 

The District Animal Husbandry Department has made preparations to address any potential situation. It has formed district and block-level Rapid Response Teams (RRT) / Quick Response Teams (QRT) comprising veterinarians and staff. Poultry farmers in the district are urged to immediately notify the district and block-level RRT and QRT if there are any sudden deaths among their poultry.
