Panic prevailed in Lalghati area after a 37-year-old female nurse was found dead in an apartment, this flat belongs to the woman's acquaintance. She was living with her 12 year old boy and was living without her husband for the past 3 months.

The police have established a case in this matter. Police said that the exact cause of death will be revealed after receiving the PM report.

According to TI Brijendra Marskole, Maya TM (37), wife of Sundaram Vyankateshwar Gayatri, lived on rent in Bihar Colony, Bagsevania. She worked as a nurse at Sage Apollo Hospital. Before this she used to work in Trupti Hospital of Lal Ghati. She became friends with Deepak Katiyar who worked here.

After knowing about this, Maya's husband returned to Kerala three months ago. After this, the woman started living on rent in Bagh Sevaniya with her 12 year old son Nadan. Before this she had also been with Deepak.

When and how the deceased reached Deepak's house has not been revealed. It was Deepak who had informed the police about her death. After taking possession of the body, the police kept it in the mortuary.

The body was handed over to the relatives after the PM on Friday. Police said that at present the possibility of murder cannot be ruled out.

After the preliminary investigation police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started investigation.

The police are yet to record the statements of the family members who could reveal the details. The reason of the death has to be revealed and which could surface after the post mortem report is handed to police.
