PM Modi changes direction, dimension of politics: Nadda

Tuesday, 23 April 2024 | Staff Reporter | BILASPUR

BJP chief J.P. Nadda on Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the direction and dimensions of politics in the country and that BJP was committed for the development of poor, farmers, youth, women, tribals and backwards.

Addressing a public rally at Lormi in Bilaspur in support of BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate Tokhan Sahu, he alleged that the I.N.D.I.A. alliance partners were against Sanatan Dharma and compared it with dengue, malaria and HIV.

He launched a scathing attack on the Congress for indulging in minority appeasement and claimed the BJP was fighting the Lok Sabha polls on the development plank.

Citing the abrogation of Article 370, construction of a Ram temple, introduction of CAA and ending Triple Talaq as major achievements of the Modi government, Nadda said every vote for the BJP would help the nation.

“India is at present fifth largest economy... Now we are marching ahead to become the third largest economy of the world,” he said. Commenting on the previous Congress government in Chhattisgarh, Nadda said it was enveloped by corruption. “You have uprooted that corrupt government and now we are seeking your support to help build new developed India”, he said.
