Senior officials, MLA inspect arrangements for Prime Minister’s proposed election rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Madhya Pradesh once again on Wednesday, April 24. He will hold election meetings in Sagar and Betul. After this, we will travel to the State capital in the evening. This is PM Modi's 5th visit to MP within 20 days.

There will be about a kilometer long road show of Prime Minister Modi in Bhopal. On Sunday, SPG and Bhopal Police Commissioner along with other officers took stock of the route of the road show. During this period BJP leaders were also present.

Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra said that more than 2 thousand policemen will be deployed on the route of PM Modi's road show on April 24. The supervision of PM Modi's security arrangements is handed over to ADG Chanchal Shekhar and 30 IPS officers.

The road show will start from the statue of Lal Bahadur Shastri right in front of the Old Assembly. The road show will go to Apex Circle via Roshanpura. Traffic will also remain diverted during this period. The traffic police will soon issue an advisory regarding the diverted route.

Intelligence agencies from center to state are on high alert to protect PM Narendra Modi. SPG has taken command of the security arrangements. Three layer security arrangements have been made. SPG commandos will be deployed in the first layer.

PM Modi came to Jabalpur for the first time on April 7 after the implementation of the code of conduct for Lok Sabha elections. Reached Balaghat two days later on 9th April. Campaigned in Pipariya of Narmadapuram on 14th April and Damoh on 19th April. Now coming to Sagar, Betul and Bhopal on 24th April. This is his 5th visit to MP within 20 days.
