Renowned writer, columnist, and National Spokesperson of BJP, Tuhin A. Sinha, on Thursday stressed on the pivotal role that Jharkhand can play in steering India towards economic prowess. Sinha, acclaimed for his literary contributions focusing on tribal heroes, expressed optimism about the state's potential for growth, emphasizing the need for a strategic vision. The state requires a strategic vision to propel growth.

Speaking passionately about Jharkhand's abundant reserves of minerals and human resources, Sinha underscored the importance of harnessing these assets effectively. "Jharkhand possesses a wealth of resources, both in terms of minerals and its skilled human population. To harness this potential, it is imperative that we work cohesively under a visionary plan," he stated during an interaction.

He also expressed concerns over rising cases of youth suicides especially In Jamshedpur and expressed an urgent need to form ‘Happiness Clubs’ in schools that can motivate students to lead a cheerful and happy life.

Sharing notes on his recent book, ‘Modi’s Northeast Story’, he said that the northeastern states bore the brunt of the horribly miscalculated 1962 war with China, which resulted in many problems. After Prime Minister (PM) Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who had made an earnest attempt to bridge the divide between the Northeast and the rest of India during his tenure, PM Narendra Modi was the first to take the task of uplifting the Northeast with a rare visionary zeal with his Act East Policy. Ten years later, the results are all too visible. Seamless road connectivity, umpteen new airports and vast swathes of new railway tracks across hitherto unconnected areas have changed the way one travels across the Northeast.

Addressing the ongoing farmers' protests in the country, Sinha, who also serves as the national spokesperson of BJP, assured that the government is engaged in dialogue with the farmers. He expressed confidence in an amicable resolution to the issues raised by the farmers regarding Minimum Support Price (MSP) guarantees.

Shifting focus to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Tuhin A. Sinha projected a strong performance by the BJP, forecasting it to emerge as the single largest party with the maximum number of seats. In contrast, he predicted a diminishing influence for the Congress party, estimating it to secure less than 40 seats. He said that the leaders associated with Congress Party are in haste to leave the party.

Sinha's multifaceted identity as a best-selling author, columnist, and politician has solidified his reputation as one of India's most prolific writers. Sinha is known for his maverick approach, seamlessly navigating through diverse genres. His recent trilogy, encompassing books like "The Legend Of Birsa Munda," "The Great Tribal Warriors Of Bharat," and "Sido Kanhu," delves into the unsung subaltern freedom fighters of India.

Beyond his literary achievements, Tuhin A. Sinha has emerged as a prominent media voice for the BJP, contributing insightful articles and participating in news debates on crucial political issues. His articulate and vocal stance has solidified his position as a key figure in the political discourse of the country. As Jharkhand unfolds its potential, Tuhin A. Sinha's vision and insights may well guide the state towards a prominent role in India's journey to economic prominence.
