Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), one of the prestigious management entrance exams, has set a new benchmark by receiving an all-time high of 142,235 applications for the 2025 cycle.

For over seven decades, XAT has been a trusted gateway for individuals aspiring to excel in the world of business and leadership. Graduates from XAT-associated institutions have consistently risen to influential roles across industries, both in India and globally, solidifying the exam’s reputation as a hallmark of excellence.

What makes XAT unique is its inclusive and standardized format, offering equal opportunities to candidates nationwide. Conducted simultaneously across multiple test centers, XAT ensures a fair and transparent selection process for all participants.

Commenting on this historic achievement, Prof. Rahul Shukla, Convenor of XAT, said, “XAT has always championed inclusivity and diversity. The record number of registrations this year is a testament to the aspirants’ belief in the transformative potential of management education. It reaffirms our mission to nurture talent from all corners of the country.”

The surge in registrations can also be attributed to a strategic outreach initiative led by XAT and its associated business schools. This campaign effectively addressed common misconceptions about the test and highlighted its significance for ambitious candidates.

Prof. Shukla added, “Our efforts to communicate XAT’s value proposition have borne fruit. This unprecedented number of registrations underscores the trust candidates place in us and their determination to pursue excellence in management education.”
