Chief Minister Hemant Soren today directed all the departments to select at least three such schemes in the financial year 2025-26, which can be dedicated to the people of the state within one to one and a half years. These schemes should be implemented effectively on the ground within the stipulated time frame. If any kind of problem arises in the implementation of the schemes, then find a quick and complete solution to it. The CM was holding a high-level review meeting today with the Additional Chief Secretary / Principal Secretary / Secretary of all departments in the Jharkhand Ministry regarding various schemes. He told the officials to work with full readiness not only in schemes, but also in other areas so that the state progresses rapidly on every front.
The CM told the officials that complete transparency should be maintained in the schemes selected. There should be a sure arrangement so that people get direct benefit of these schemes. Any kind of negligence and carelessness will not be tolerated in the implementation of the schemes. Ensure the arrangement of whatever resources are needed for these schemes. The schemes of the government should reach the people in all circumstances. The CM said that the schemes selected by the departments should be completely transparent, effective and efficient. For this, positive and strong steps should be taken so that the people of the state can get its benefits with ease. He said that such efforts will further strengthen the trust of the people of the state on the government.
The CM said that the schemes should be justified. Any scheme proves to be meaningful only when its benefits are received by the people at the right time. In such a situation, whatever important schemes are being run, try to complete them before time. He said that the arrangements for drinking water before the summer season, water management before the monsoon and distribution of blankets before the winter season should be improved. At the same time, ensure distribution of study material and bicycles among the students before the start of the new academic session. The CM said that there are many such important schemes, which should be tried to be completed before the stipulated time.
The CM said that people have to make a lot of rounds to get certificates like income, caste, residential, birth and death. Such complaints are received continuously. Many times people have to suffer a lot due to not getting such certificates on time. This is not good for the system. Caste, residential, income, birth and death certificates are directly related to the general public. In such a situation, to avoid problems in making such certificates, keep its system completely in order.
The CM said that many flagship schemes are being run by our government. We have started efforts towards making provision of funds for these schemes. He told the officials that for the successful implementation of these schemes, the departments have to work with a solid strategy. In this regard, the departments have to not only spend the money but also mobilize the resources. Only when we have resources, we will be able to provide the benefits of the schemes to the general public.
In this high level meeting, Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari and Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, including Additional Chief Secretaries / Principal Secretaries / Secretaries of all departments and many other officials were present.
