Collector Roshan Kumar Singh conducted a series of inspections on Thursday, reviewing the progress of several key infrastructure projects across Ujjain. His first stop was the Tata Sewerage Project, where he visited the Gau Ghat, Bada Pul Chakra Teerth, and Gadi Adda areas. During his visit, the Collector directed officials to expedite the completion of the ongoing works and ensure timely delivery of the project.

Following the sewerage project review, Collector Singh proceeded to the Kal Bhairav Temple, one of Ujjain’s most iconic religious sites. He assessed the temple’s parking facilities and other arrangements, instructing the expansion of the shed at the shoe stand and the preparation of a work plan to construct a new shed in the temple’s outer premises. The Collector emphasized the importance of cleanliness and maintaining proper arrangements to ensure a smooth experience for the devotees.

Next, Collector Singh visited the Angareshwar Temple to review the preparations for an event scheduled for May 31. He inspected the stage and other essential arrangements at the venue, urging that all preparations be completed within the stipulated time. He also directed the installation of hoardings and banners from the Mangalnath Temple bridge to the event venue and stressed the need for cleanliness and proper organization around the site.

The Collector then visited Nijatpura and Biyabani, where he inspected the ongoing road widening work. He instructed that all works in these areas be completed by the established deadlines to ensure minimal disruption to the public.

Additionally, Collector Singh visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple and reviewed the progress of the Tata sewerage line work outside the temple. He directed that this work be completed within a week and also examined other ongoing construction projects at the temple to ensure they were on schedule.

The inspections were attended by several key officials, including Municipal Commissioner Ashish Pathak, ADM Pratham Kaushik, Smart City CEO Sandeep Shiva, SDM, and other relevant authorities.
