SISTec opens Centre of Excellence in data analytics

Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Data Analytics at its Ratibad Campus. With this addition, SISTec now boasts six Centres of Excellence across its campuses, enhancing its commitment to industry-oriented education and research.

The Centre of Excellence is supported by Lumenore and Netlink Software Pvt. Ltd. and was inaugurated virtually by Anurag Shrivastava, CEO & Founder of Netlink Software Pvt. Ltd., Vinit Jindal, EVP & Coach at Netlink Software Pvt. Ltd., and Saurabh Mishra, Vice President of Lumenore, Netlink Software Pvt. Ltd.. The event was graced by Siddharth Agrawal, Managing Director of Sagar Group, Dr. Jyoti Deshmukh, Group Director SISTec, and Dr. Manish Billore, Principal SISTec-R.

The Centre of Excellence in Data Analytics aims to provide SISTec students with research-driven learning, industry collaboration, and hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies. It will focus on real-world problem-solving skills, industry exposure, and shaping students into future-ready professionals, fostering an innovative learning environment.

Speaking at the launch, Anurag Shrivastava emphasized the growing importance of data in modern decision-making. He remarked, "Data is like oxygen for companies. Filtering and analyzing relevant data accelerates decision-making. I am confident that this Centre of Excellence will equip students with advanced skills, empowering them to develop innovative tools and technologies using AI."

iddharth Agrawal, Managing Director of Sagar Group, reaffirmed SISTec’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry. He stated, "SISTec remains dedicated to skilling students through industry integration and academic excellence. We will continue to foster innovation and practical learning."

During the event, Priyanka Bhatele, Head of the Computer Science Engineering - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department, shared the vision and objectives of the Centre of Excellence. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ajit Shrivastava, Department Head, who expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering support in realizing this initiative.
