Vikram University, in collaboration with the University Grants Commission’s Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), organized a one-day national webinar on the theme “Digital Initiatives for Quality Enhancement in Higher Education.†The event aimed to promote innovation and inspire educators and researchers to adopt digital tools for improving academic quality.
The inaugural session was presided over by Professor Arpan Bhardwaj, Vice-Chancellor of Vikram University. In his presidential address, Prof. Bhardwaj emphasized the transformative impact of digital technology on education. “In today’s digital era, the integration of digital tools in education has ushered in a new wave of innovation. The University Grants Commission has entrusted Vikram University with a special responsibility for coordinating digital initiatives, and this webinar is a significant step in that direction,†he said.
Umesh Kumar Singh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, presented the program outline and noted that the academic landscape is rapidly evolving. “Digital transformation is not only reshaping the teaching-learning process but also bringing new perspectives to assessment methods and academic quality.
