Web-based e-Nagarpalika 2.0 to computerize urban bodies

The Urban Development and Housing Department has launched the centralized web-based e-Nagarpalika 2.0 scheme to computerise all urban bodies of the state. This scheme has been implemented with the objective of promoting Digital India and to provide transparent and prompt citizen services. This scheme is a unique example of e-governance. Through e-Nagarpalika 1.0, all citizen services provided by urban bodies, public grievance facilities, internal functioning of the bodies, all payments, and budget processes have been integrated to provide online facilities. e-Nagarpalika 2.0 has also been integrated with various departments such as Industries, Revenue, Registration Department, etc., and with important mobile apps of the Government of India like UMANG. To provide citizen services in all urban bodies of the state, a unified single SAP-ERP platform-based e-Nagarpalika 1.0 was implemented earlier. After that, e-Nagarpalika 2.0has been implemented in urban bodies.
