Union Minister for Textiles, Smriti Zubin Irani, will attend an event at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Science college premises here on Friday.
Chief Minister Raman Singh and Union Minister of State for Textiles Ajay Tamta will be present on the occasion.
Irani would be reaching Raipur at 10.25 am in a scheduled flight from New Delhi and would directly proceed to the event venue.
She will give away the National Award for Shilp Guru and National Award for the Year 2016 to Master craftspersons.
After the programme, she would proceed to Airport at 1.20 pm and leave for New Delhi at 2.50 pm .
