BJP apprises residents of illegal colonies about rights given by Govt

Monday, 11 November 2019 | SR | New Delhi

Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a public contact programme in unauthorised colonies on Sunday to apprise them about their rights conferred by the Government.  Party national general secretary Dr Anil Jain organised the programme in Mahipalpur while BJP national secretary Maheish Girri visited public in Sangam Vihar.

Days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that a bill to confer ownership rights to the people living in unauthorized colonies will be introduced in winter session of the Parliament, there is a wave of happiness among the people living in 1797 unauthorized colonies in the national Capital, Delhi BJP said in a statement.

Addressing the gathring in Mahipalpur, Jain said the BJP has done what promised by providing ownership rights to the 40 lakh people of these unauthorised colonies in Delhi.

Attacking the parties for cheating people of unauthorised colonies during the last 21 years, he said that they are not going to return to power in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Girri also accused the AAP and Congress of betraying people of Delhi. But no one can cheat the people again and again.
