BSL launches website for revenue collection

Aimed to provide better facilities to its, customers Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) management, launched a new website for revenue collection on Sunday.

In a grand event General Manager Town and Administration Vibhakar formally inaugurated the website http://www.bslta.in/revenue/ where SJ Ahmad GM (C&IT), AP Lakra in-charge Revenue Department along with other senior officers of the administrative department and members of the team who developed the web site were present.

Speaking on the occasion Vibhakar said, “This website will act as a single platform for the customers, provide information about all types of bill payments, online meter reading including others.”

He added,“After providing e-mail id and phone number to the Revenue section, customers can download or pay their bills directly by clicking the link sent on email or mobile.”

Besides, customers can upload their electric meter reading online between the first and tenth date of each month, Vibhakar said.

To avail, the facility customer has to enter into the billed section and for that, they have to enter the user ID and password for the receipt and payment of the bill. User ID for all customers will be their pre-allotted 10 digits SAP number and the first password will be 123456789 while logging in, he informed.
