Director (Personnel), CCL, RS Mahapatro, has been awarded with ‘Pride of HR Profession - Public Sector Undertakings’ award for his outstanding contribution in the field of human resource and making difference in the economic growth and prosperity of the nation, during 27th Edition World HRD Congress held at Mumbai from 15th-19th February, 2019.

On behalf of Director (Personnel), Umesh Singh, GM (P & IR) and Abhinash Srivastava, Sr Manager (P), Ankur Gautam, Asstt. Manager (Pers.) received the award in presence of Professor Indira Parikh, Ex Dean of IIM Ahmedabad, Vinay Ranjan, Director (Personnel), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanjib Roy, Director (Administration & HR), Khadi and Village Industries Commision and Dr. R L Bhatia, Founder of World CSR Day & World Sustainability Congress and others dignitaries from the corporate world.  Theme of this year's World HRD Congress was "Future of World at Work".

R S Mahapatro as Director (Personnel) has brought paradigm shift in HR functioning initiatives in the areas such as Welfare, IR and CSR. Under his able guidance, CCL has won many laurels including ‘Greentech HR Gold Award’, Excellence in CSR Award", HR Leadership Award (PSU focus) etc. CCL as responsible public enterprise, has taken up various welfare schemes for the uplift of its stakeholders and society at large, under Director (Personnel), R S Mahapatro.

Mahapatro with his dynamic leadership and visionary outlook has not only led the company into a more employee friendly organization but also strived to ensure inclusive growth for the people of Jharkhand through these welfare schemes.
