Conducive environment for trade will be created in State: Min

Commercial Taxes Minister TS Singhdeo on Sunday said that a conducive environment for trade would be created in Chhattisgarh as per the Congress party’s poll manifesto.

He was addressing office-bearers of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Raipur on Sunday.

The Minister said that the State government is committed to boosting industrial development and trade in the State.

He suggested the traders to expand their businesses in proportion to demand for products in the market.

The Minister also apprised traders about the discussions held recently in the GST Council meeting in New Delhi.

The businessmen and traders in the meeting sought rationalization of taxes in the real estate business to which the Minister asked them to submit the suggestion within a week for it to be forwarded to the Central Government for consideration.
