STF Bhopal has registered case against Digiana Pvt Ltd and SR Media Ltd for fraud and infringement of copy right for illegally broadcasting signals of Vishesh Media Pvt. (Anadi Cable TV) MP Nagar.

The complainant Lokendra Singh lodged complaint with Special DG STF, Purushottam Sharma stating that Vishesh Media Pvt. (Anadi Cable TV)all entertainment and news channels signals broadcasted illegally by Digiana Pvt Ltd and SR Media Ltd.

Earlier also such activities were also done in the entire Madhya Pradesh by stealing the signals of Star Channel and complained in the past by STF Police Station, Bhopal.

The theft signals are still being broadcast by installing another system at another place which is completely against the Guideline and falls under the category of crime of the said act.

In this case, Anadi has lodged complaint with Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) against SR Media and others, on which TDSAT  passed orders against SRMedia Pvt. Ltd. and Digiana but the two without complying continued transmission of signals illegally.

ADG Ashok Awasthi constituted SIT by holding the case to STF and on April 6, 2018 and in the investigation it was found that stealing of the  signals of Star India Pvt Ltd is done by Digiana Projects Pvt Ltd and broadcasted at about 26 locations across the

country.                                                                                                                       

 A case under section 420, 467,468,471, 379, 120B of the IPC and section 63 Copyright Act 1957 and section 66C IT Act against Digiana Pvt Ltd and their directors Sukhdev Ghuman and Tejinderpal Singh Guman and other accused has been registered.
