nChhattisgarh Chief Secretary RP Mandal on Wednesday chaired a meeting at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan) on coal supply to Chhattisgarh State Power Production Company Limited by coal producing companies.
He gave strict instructions to the coal companies and senior railway officials based in the state, that Chhattisgarh's Atal Bihari Vajpayee Thermal Power House Madwa, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Thermal Power House Korba (East) and Hasdeo Thermal Power House Korba (West) should be provided uninterrupted coal supply.
Under any circumstances, coal supply to thermal power generation houses should not be interrupted and regular supply of coal in sufficient quantity should be ensured.
Mandal directed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Power Production Company Limited Shailendra Shukla, Secretary Mining Anbalgan P and Joint Secretary Energy Mohammad Kaisar Abdul Haque to ensure monitoring of coal supply to Thermal Power Houses. Principal Secretary Energy Gaurav Dwivedi along with officers of SECL and Railways were also present.
