First batch of Tigor EV flagged off

Thursday, 12 December 2019 | PNS | Jamshedpur

As part of our ongoing green initiative, Tata Motors Jamshedpur has taken the lead to introduce a fleet of electric vehicles for its employee transportation in the Jamshedpur plant.

The first batch of Tigor EVs was flagged off by Vishal Badshah, head Jamshedpur Plant along with other senior officials. With this, the company intends to cut down on the carbon emission and motivate its employees to switch to green public commuting habits. Tata Motors Jamshedpur plans to convert the entire fleet of vehicles to EV in the coming future.
