Free health camps were organised at village Sarwar, Amla, Barjhiri and Jhagariya Khurd, by specialist doctors of Radharaman Ayurveda Medical College Research Hospital, Ratibad. The camps were organised here on Monday.
More than 500 villagers were tested in this camp held on different days. These camps mainly tested for stomach, diabetes and seasonal diseases. In the team of doctors led by Dr. Gayatri Telang, Dr. Zodiac, Dr. Rohit, pathologist Dhanpat and pharmacists Krishna Kumar Malaviya and Hansraj Magre were the prominent ones.
Physicians distributed free medicines to the patients who came to the testing camps and gave lifestyle related advice including catering so that the diseases could be properly treated and controlled.
Radharaman Group Chairman RR Saxena said that under the responsibility of social responsibility of the group, such camps are organized from time to time in the surrounding villages by the specialist physicians of Radharaman Ayurveda Medical College Research Hospital so that the villagers living there will be the only village could get the benefit of health services.
Along with this, awareness of prevention of disease is also spread by the health related instructions given by the medical team to the general public. By adopting these measures, villagers are able to take better care of their health.
He also said that many patients of villages surrounding the group campus are getting health benefits every day.
Apart from treatment, the students and locals were made aware about health and hygiene by the team of experts and doctors. Talking to students, Dr Gayatri said, “If we regularly visit doctors and follow good eating habits we can avoid problems. But in modern hectic life we are least bothered about our care and that contributes to our problems”, he added.
