Battered badly on dengue front, the arrival of swine flu in Dehradun has compounded the problems of officials. Confirming presence of one patient of the disease, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Dehradun Dr S K Gupta said that the department is on alert mode for swine flu. On Thursday the Medical Superintendent (MS) of the Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital Dr K K Tamta took a meeting of doctors and discussed preparedness for swine flu.
He said that a 10 bed isolation ward for the disease has been prepared and the hospital has adequate stock of swine flu medicine and masks.
